About the campaign
The Story
From Expansion to Empowerment
In 2021, The Wheelhouse invested $840,000 to expand our campus, adding more housing and program space to serve more men on their recovery journey. This was an essential investment in hope and healing.
Today, we are focused on paying off the remaining loan. Why? Because every dollar currently spent on interest payments is a dollar that could be redirected to life-changing recovery services. Achieving a debt-free future means more funds are available for meals, counseling, spiritual guidance, job training, and family support programs. That is the mission behind this match.
How the Mission Match 2025 Donation Match Works
A generous board member, Jeff Barnett, has pledged to match every dollar given specifically toward our loan payoff, up to the full $840,000. This 1:1 donation match is active from now until December 31, 2025.
To ensure your contribution is doubled, please include the note: “Please earmark my gift for the loan payoff.”
Please note: While all gifts are deeply appreciated, only those designated for the loan payoff qualify for this specific campaign.

What is the goal of Mission Match 2025?
Our goal is to raise $420,000 in community donations. These funds will unlock the full $420,000 in matching funds, allowing us to completely retire the $840,000 campus expansion loan.
Which gifts qualify for the donation match?
Gifts of any amount qualify as long as they are specifically earmarked for the “loan payoff” and are received by December 31, 2025.
What about corporate matching gifts?
If your employer offers a matching gift program, their contribution will be credited in addition to our board member’s 1:1 donation match, potentially tripling your initial gift.
What happens if you raise more than the goal?
All funds designated for the loan payoff will be used exclusively for principal reduction, saving us thousands in interest payments and accelerating our path to becoming debt-free.
