The Wheelhouse in Deer Park, TX is raising funds for a new transportation van.

We are focused on peer-to-peer fundraising as well as reaching out to family and friends to spread the word about this fundraiser.

The Wheelhouse has been in Deer Park for over 70 years and serves 74 adult men who want to recover from their addictions to drugs and alcohol.

Our main goal is to partner with donors and volunteers to provide a supportive environment and recovery tools where men can free themselves from the grip of alcohol and drug addiction. These men return to society as functional, useful, productive fathers, employees, and loved ones.

The van we need ranges in price from $40,000 to $60,000 each. Having a transportation van for 5 years has allowed The Wheelhouse to take men to get help with their medical and legal challenges, take men to recovery meetings as well as to do service work in the community.

We have been blessed for 5 years with a 2007 passenger van generously donated to us in 2018. We have used it so much that the van now has over 200 thousand miles on it and the transmission no longer works. It is not drivable, and we need one desperately.

When we hit our goal, we’ll buy a transportation van.
